Our first Viognier under the Terroir (reserve) label is a fully dry, rich, complex wine. While Viognier often appeals by those who enjoy Chardonnay, it has its own unique character with minerality, peach, pear and apple along with white flowers.

Tasting Notes
A complex wine with aromas and flavours of lychee, tamarind, melon, pear, apple, white flowers, clove and cinnamon which balance its pleasant acidity. Smooth, round finish. Best serving temperature 7 to 10 C.
Winemaker Notes
Only Strewn’s second Viognier, 2016 exceeded the quality of the inaugural 2015 vintage. Harvested during the morning hours early October, the fruit was pressed to a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank for ferment. A specialized yeast was selected for the fermentation, maintained around 11-12C for just under 3 weeks, down to dryness.
