Dry, refreshing rosés have become more and more popular over the past few years. Our style has always been dry and fruit forward with underlying savoury, herbal or mineral notes. From the 2020 vintage, winemaker Marc Bradshaw has produced our first Rosé made exclusively from Cabernet Franc.
This light, crisp, refreshing and fruity wine shows lovely aromas of raspberries, strawberries, cranberries and sour cherries. The delicate red and black-fruit flavours are beautiful balanced with soft tannins and natural acidity
100% Cabernet Franc, picked from three Niagara-on-the-Lake vineyards with juice left on the skins, pulp and seeds for 18 hours. The wine was crafted dry to showcase the spicy red berry flavours. The wine was cold and heat stabilized before being bottled through a sterile filter under screw cap.
Food Pairing Notes
This dry, refreshing rosé is perfect to enjoy by itself and matches well with both lighter patio-style dishes and turkey, ham or other main dishes with a fruity note such a cranberry or sour cherry.
