Rich and Firm. Aromas and flavours of blueberries, raspberry jam, black cherries, vanilla, coffee, leather, dark chocolate, spice, hay and cassis. Crisp and vibrant acidity in balance with firm tannins producing a lingering mouthfeel. Recommended Serving Temperatures 16° to 19°C
When fruit from the Home Farm came in exceptionally ripe with over-the-top lushness of red berry flavours and spice notes., I believed the ensuing wine deserved the additional dry late harvest title as it goes above and beyond what the typical top-shelf Merlot would be. The grapes were harvested on November 1, 2016 @ 26.8Bx, fermented in small batch open bins with MLF (malolactic fermentation) then pressed and aged for 22 months in two American oak barrels, which represented the boldness and intensity you can expect in The LIMITED wines.
