Crisp acidity and firm tannins balance well with the aromas and flavours of raspberries, strawberries, black cherries ,blackberries, flint, crushed rock, black pepper, black tea, mocha, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, spice and toasty oak. The finish is long and smooth.

The LIMITED Meritage is an remarkable assemblage of Cabernet Franc and Merlot from fruit yielded off our exceptional Home Farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Hand-harvested late 2015, the must was fermented in small batch open bins for greater extraction. Following 21 months oak maturation, 2 barriques which expressed the opulent vintage and terroir were blended the bottled unfiltered to retain the richness of the wine.
