Classic Niagara Sauvignon Blanc from a hot, ripe year. Tropical fruit, peach and apricot with notes of lemon-lime and green garden vegetables.
Brix at Harvest
Crisp and refreshing with a long finish. Aromas and flavours of grapefruit, lemon, lime, pear, peach, white flowers and a touch of asparagus. Finishes beautifully on the palate with a herbaceous note on the tongue and refreshing acidity. Best serving temperature 7 to 10 C
The 2015 vintage provided exceptional quality for aromatic whites across the Niagara Peninsula as the 2015 Strewn Sauvignon Blanc demonstrates. Harvested on a crisp morning mid-October from the home farm vineyard at 1.8 tonnes/acre, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes were pressed and cool-fermented down to dryness in stainless steel. Subsequent stabilization and sterile filtration preceded bottling under screw-cap.
