An equal quantity of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were picked from the clay and sandy portion of Strewn`s Home Farm vineyard. They were fermented separately using the same yeast and aged in barrels from the same cooperage. Clay Block shows greatter minerality, bolder flavours and more complexity than Sandy Block.

Tasting Notes
A herbal and smooth wine with flavours and aromas of cassis, sweet cherries, vanilla, mocha, crushed rock, black tea and eucalyptus. The acidity and firm tannins produce a long, smooth finish on the palate. Best Serving Temperature 16° to 19° C.
90 Score "Lots of mocha and dark chocolate from oak aging on the nose and palate of this robust Niagara Cabernet. Vines are planted in clay and sand soils. Aromas of black fruit, leather, spice and smoke. Pair with grilled meats." Natalie Maclean (Canada's most widely quoted wine reviewer)
Silver Medal, 2018 International Wines & Spirits Competition / Bronze 2018 International Wine Challenge / Bronze 2018 decanter World Wine Awards
